Nike SB Street Hawker Charity Raffle Recap

To release the Nike SB Low 'Street Hawker' atmos USA launched a charity raffle to engage with the store communities and lend a hand to those in need this season. To participate, customers had to donate a canned good in exchange for an entry. The initiative's response proved to be nothing short of amazing - with over 3,386 canned goods collected between all three store locations. The atmos community seemed to like this style of raffle - we heard the feedback, we'll be doing more of these in the future.

A skate inspired editorial was shot with two local Philadelphia skaters, 'Turbo' and 'Rico', to show off the silhouette while diving into the shoe's skate roots. The editorial, not only within the atmos community but within the local skate community, received plenty of traction. Legendary skate spots specific to the city were on display in the editorial, which brought emphasis to the community feel of the initiative.

All canned goods donated from the communities will be given back to the community in two different ways. In the Washington DC area, all canned goods have been donated to Dreaming Outloud, a community organization geared towards eliminating food deserts in the area. The organization has a standing partnership with atmos USA. Recently, employees at the Washington DC location volunteered to help harvest crops that will eventually be used as compost and check out the recap video. Canned goods donated at both the Philadelphia and New York store locations will be distributed, while supplies last, on February 12 from 10 AM to 7 PM outside of both stores.

Without the help of the atmos USA community - this effort would not have been possible. We can't wait to do more activations like this in the future.
