Cortez (White | Red)
First introduced to the world in the 1972 Olympics as a track shoe, the Cortez was designed by Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman. As a collegiate track coach, he knew runner's true needs when it came to footwear and felt that a more comfortable and durable shoe would be beneficial. Apparently he was right, because it's now over 40 years later and it remains one of Nike's most classic silhouettes.
